Sumrell Sugg welcome Jenna Carroll as Summer Law Clerk

Jenna Carroll is a rising second-year law student at Campbell Law School and is spending her summer with Sumrell Sugg as a law clerk. At Campbell, Jenna has particularly enjoyed Civil Procedure and Legal Research and Writing, where she has sharpened her research, advocacy, and analytical writing skills.

Jenna graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2025 with a degree in Media and Journalism focused on Advertising and Public Relations. While at Carolina, she served as Vice President of the Hussman School of Media and Journalism and worked as a Senior Legal Assistant at Matthew Charles Law Firm, assisting attorneys with legal research, drafting, client communication, and case management.

In addition to her legal experience, Jenna is an accomplished dance instructor and choreographer. Alongside her twin sister, Julia, she has choreographed award-winning performances for dance companies across North Carolina and has taught students of all ages for more than six years.

Jenna is excited to continue building practical litigation and advocacy experience with the attorneys at Sumrell Sugg.
