Ross Hardeman Brings Election Education to Bangert Elementary Fifth Graders

Sumrell Sugg partner Ross Hardeman, Chair of the Craven County Board of Elections, visited AH Bangert Elementary School during early voting to speak with all of the school’s fifth-grade students about his role and how elections work.

Hardeman discussed the responsibilities of the Board of Elections and walked students through the election process, helping them better understand how elections are conducted and the role voting plays in our democracy.
