Sumrell Sugg is proud to congratulate attorney Chip Payson on his appointment as Board Chair and President of Habitat for Humanity of Craven County.
Chip has served on the Habitat for Humanity of Craven County Board of Directors since 2023. As President, Chip will help guide the organization’s strategic direction as it continues its mission of providing safe, affordable housing opportunities for families throughout Craven County.
Chip brings decades of public-sector legal experience to both his law practice and his community service. His practice focuses on local government law, serving as outside general counsel to municipalities and other public entities, as well as advising clients on state and federal government relations.
