Trey Ferguson publishes government law update with the NCADA.



The North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys (NCADA) publishes a monthly e-newsletter, The Resource, to its members with information and commentary on recent court decisions that affect civil defense attorneys in North Carolina.  Sumrell Sugg associate, Trey Ferguson, wrote this month’s featured article in The Resource outlining recent North Carolina court decisions that affect local government attorneys.  Trey’s article can be read here

 

Trey has been with Sumrell Sugg for three years and works primarily in the firm’s local government defense practice area, litigating cases around the state for government clients.  Trey also works with the firm’s institutional government clients, advising on legal issues that affect day-to-day governance.  Trey is also an active member of the NCADA’s local government practice group and will be presenting on his Article, with Sumrell Sugg partner Dave Baxter, at the 2024 summer conference for the North Carolina Public Risk Managers’ Association in September.
