Sumrell Sugg Healthcare Attorneys Renew Certifications

New Bern, NC – February 3, 2016 – Attorneys Kyle Dickerson and David Baxter recently renewed their designations by the Compliance Certification Board as Certified in Healthcare Compliance. In order to be eligible to be Certified in Healthcare Compliance, an allied professional must have 1,500 consecutive hours of work in a healthcare compliance-related position within the last two years. Additionally, candidates must earn and submit 40 approved continuing education units every 24 months.

Kyle Dickerson also recently renewed his designation by the Compliance Certification Board as Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance. This certification exemplifies its recipient’s knowledge of the relevant privacy regulations in the healthcare field and expertise in understanding and addressing the legal obligations associated with those regulations.
