Mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution which has proven to be extremely effective in settling disputes, both before and during litigation. In North Carolina, all suits are referred to mandatory, non-binding mediation before a mediator certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission. Our attorneys handle mediations on a regular basis, in a number of forums, including state superior court, federal court, and the North Carolina Industrial Commission. In addition, two of our attorneys have been certified by the State of North Carolina as mediators. Scott C.
